19-25th June is BRITISH FLOWERS WEEK. A week-long celebration of British Flowers and the UK cut flower industry. New Covent Garden flower market which spearheads the campaign says “Not only do British flowers usually have superior scent to imported blooms, they will be fresher and last longer. By buying British flowers you are supporting local industry, British flower farmers, and encouraging wildlife and biodiversity.
