£212000 has been awarded by Historic England towards essential repairs of historic features in the outside spaces surrounding Auckland Castle.

The project includes restoration of the Bishop’s Steps providing access to the Walled Garden, as well as the creation of a number of new gardens and areas previously not open to the public.
