On Tuesday evening, 20th July, we are invited to visit the Hidden Gardens of Croft, which are being opened especially for our group.  You can bring a friend, and the cost is £6 which gives entry to four adjacent gardens, tea and cake.  The proceeds will go to support the Air Ambulance.

The address is New Cottage, Oxney Flatts, Croft Road, Darlington.  Postcode   DL2 2SD.  We are not providing transport so please be there between 6 and 6.30pm, or come as soon as you can after that.  We will start the tour at 6.30pm.

From the Evans Halshaw garage roundabout at Blands Corner in Dton, take the A167 towards Croft. You will pass Springfield Farm on your left, then at the sharp bend take the gravelled driveway into Oxney Flatts. You will have a bungalow on your left. Please take care on this sharp corner, as traffic tends to speed coming up from Croft.  There is ample parking at the top of the lane.

The gardens are all interesting and very different, and have all been opened for the NGS, so are pretty special.
