We will now visit Oliver Ford Garden at Longedge Lane, Rowley, Consett DH8 9HG,

This is the home of Bob Tridgett, who is a previous winner of BBC Gardener of the Year.  Its a 3 acre garden with arboretum, bog and rock gardens, flowering shrubs, and meadow areas. The garden is arranged to maximise wildlife and there are a number of sculptures.

Entrance fees will be paid by the club, and tea/coffee and cakes will be provided.

Please share cars where possible, to arrive 6.30-7pm.  There is parking in a field if it is dry, otherwise parking is on the roadside.
