GARDEN VISIT AND MEAL TUESDAY 21 MAY = ROADWORKS

Uncategorized

Please note that our garden visit and curry night on the 21st will go ahead as planned, despite resurfacing roadworks.

We have been assured by the resurfacing team that there will be no problem ain pedestrians ccessing the garden from the A689, and they anticipate that the West End section of the works will be completed by the 21st.

There well may be some parking restrictions still in place, but parking will be available in Leazes Lane near the school, Angate St., Angate Sq.,Melbourne Place, Causeway, Rectory Lane *the chapel car park is also being used), Silver Str., Demenses Picnic Area car park, Uppertown, Meadhope St., and parts of the Market Place.  It may well be that the car park at St Annes will also be open .

We meet at Janette Kelly’s gaden at  7pm, where we will be served canapes and a Birthday Night drink, and will make our way to the Black Lion in Meadhope Street at 8 pm.  All meals have been ordered.  If you are not eating  at the Black Lion you are most welcome to come along for drinks.

Our thanks to Janette and Sara’Jane for hosting this event.

We look forward to seeing everyone ,,, and hope for a dry sunny evening!

PS The entrance to Janette’s gaden is down the lane adjacent to Willow Lodge, more or less opposite the Italian restaurant.  We will put out some signage.
