Rentokil has reported an 80% surge in visits to its website, and pest controllers report over 20% increase.  Evidently rats are turning to gardens and compost bins with the rise in people eating at home and in their gardens, rather than in restaurants. Don’t put any bread, pasta etc., or fatty meat and cooked items onto the compost heap….. otherwise you will have unwelcome visitors!
