We are Weardale Flower and Garden Club and we were formed in 1978 by a group of like-minded flower and gardening enthusiasts.

We meet monthly and enjoy demonstrations, trips and visits all around the garden and flower theme.  We raise money for charities.  We provide support and assistance to all with an interest in flowers and gardens.

As a registered charity we are affiliated to NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) which has around 55,000 members nationally.  We ‘belong’ to the Northumberland and Durham Area.  Being a part of NAFAS gives us access to regional and national shows, a magazine, educational courses, competitions, and social events, as well as discounts at some suppliers.
